I wanted to link to this a few weeks ago but the site was down. Essentially you put your surname into the search engine and it tells you the "origins" or locations where that surname is most prevalent. There are some other tools on the site but i've not checked them yet.

Funnily enough my sisters, grandads and fathers names are the top 3 most common for my surname. I'm not even in the top 10 :(

I thought my name's been splashed all over the place so much it'd only be a few people who didn't know it, kinda don't care any more!

I was thinking along the same lines, hence why I didn't post my surname (as I figure it’s only one step away from late night sodimisation). You did though Grix, are ya’ lonely?
