Okay, first off, if you don`t want any spoilers for "Star by Star", then read no further.
Anyway, for the rest of you, I`m shocked! I just read page 478, and Anakin is dead! I sat in bed reading last night, and when I`d finished that page, I just didn`t move for about 5 minutes, wondering how they`d managed to get rid of such a powerful next generation jedi.
The way he went out was truly heroic though, and was well worth reading, but I still can`t believe it happened. I feel so sorry for Leia and Han (yes, they`re imaginary too, but you kinda get into these things), especially after Leia was curled up on the floor in pain.
Even Luke was struggling to hold things together, and shield his dark side emotions from his son.
Anyway, I`ve still got a few more pages of the book to read, so I can`t wait to get back tonight and start up again. I really want to find out how Jacen and Jaina cope with the loss and see if they complete their mission.

While I`m on the subject though, why did we have to wait so long for this book? In order to read the series without spoilers I had to wait ages for this book. I already own the next 4 in the series, but have been unable to touch them thanks to the late arrival of Star by Star. I believe it was because the book was release in hard back first, delaying its arrival on the shelves. Still, its been very annoying sat looking only at the covers of the later books, not daring to delve any deeper.
I`m glad I didn`t peek inside though, as that would have given away what happens in Star by Star, and almost completely ruined the book. (I guess thats patience that computer games have taught me - not the games themselves, but the waiting for their release dates :D).
