With Sir Alex "lost the plot" Ferguson leading Man U down a slippery slope, Arsenal's poor form and Liverpool's overconfidence, only one team looks likely to take the title this season.
Unlikely as it may seem, when you have eliminated all other possibilities, whatever remains, however unlikely, must be the truth.
This is a sad, sad prospect for English football. Can you imagine? Automatic qualification to the Champion's League for Everton.
*cries*
Why do we always expect it to be one of the biggest teams that'll win it?
Blackburn have won it before, and look at them now.
Same applies to United, who are going downhill... fast.
And then there's Newcastle. The team that came close once and dissapeared.
Chelsea - the team that's all "talk" rather than "do".
And Arsenal... just plain boring.
While Liverpool are only good at winning the un-important things.
Im not trying to say that Man Utd are useless without Keane but with him they are a completely different team, dont write Man Utd off just yet, they wont be far away at all (as usual).
And that position is going to get worse, as the teams below them (New. United, and Leeds) get their acts together.
Not that the odds mean anything. Just asked the guy who paid out early on Man U to win the 97/98 season. :-)

Listening to press conferences.
...and Liverpool's overconfidence...

Erm...where did you get that from?
I also forgot about Newcastle.
