I think that, out of all of the consoles I've seen, and owned, the one that looked the coolest was my Japanese Sega Megadrive. I'm not sure exactly what it was about it, but it just looks better than any other console. Maybe it was the dark red hoop around the cardrige slot, or maybe the 'ruffled' effect that it had. It was certainly an improvement upon the original Master Sysyem design, which was a rather odd shape, and the big grey block which was the NES. The consoles which followed the Megadrive haven't really caught my eye, they all look pretty standard really.
Except the Gamecube. I like the look of that, but would have to see it with my own eyes before I could pass judgement.

Before I had my PS2, I has an original PlayStation, and I was sorely tempted to buy a PSone just for the hello of it.
