Think:
PSX: i liked Tekken 3 because of the shere game play and that it was easy to learn but hard to master and MGS because of the story line, shere brilience.
Dreamcast: I haven't played many games but one which was cool was Jet Set Radio just for the originality and the weird cooky graphics which are cool.
Megadrive: oooo long time go. Um Earthworm jim was cool, thikn i liked that because of it was funny and different, aloso liked the earthwrm jim cartoons when i was about 11. So was some racing game ummm u had to buy weapons for your car by winning races, a nafe version came out on the PSX.
N64 havn't had my N64 for ages when i had it my favortie game was Goldeneye I plyed that all day and night till i got the exytra level thing up where i could change things like the enemy's accuracy. and when i done that i just played multi-player all time.
Snes: i liked Mario Kart, jus coz how fun it was and the slit 2 player screen.
Nes: (back now) Mario games i think, revolutionary gameing then.
and finally the PS2 so far my favortie games has to b SSX just the sheer graphics and speed is awesome, being able to see the the whole track without having pop-up.
c64 = way of the exploding fist or summer games
megadrive =kick off just cos it was made by a palace fan and it had andy gray of palace on the front cover and it had historic palace teams in the game and it was a good game all round
Also FF3 - 6 in real life was great, everyone remebers there first Final Fantasy and mine was arguably the best of the lot, a fine game. Sonic on the MegaDrive was fantastic with fast and furious gameplay, and loads of fun.
On the mastersystem I remeber playing Alex Kidd, and on the spectrum Rick Dangerous and Dizzy. All games that were great trailblazers of there time.
Elite: this has the seed of the ultimate game; If it had been 10 years later it may have gone online and been the best game ever.....potentially infinite variation in gameplay, particularly with the extra developments in Frontier:Elite 2, ie visiting planets, cities, etc. rather than just using space stations......ah, the good old days.
FF7: my first rpg-type experience and what an epic game! full range of emotions explored.....cool summon effects too.
tekken 3: until now, my fave beat-em-up.....Tekken Tag is superb. The Tekken series has so many subtleties in the fighting system...you can become really good if you try.
GT2: although this game was loaded with annoying rushed features, the game engine gives you so much "feel" of the cars' handling, etc....cool-a-rooney!
Driver: again although it has it's flaws the gameplay is faultless: what a blast!
MGS: ice cubes down your pants, this one....very cool. Metal Gear Rex is a SCARY boss the first time you see it!
can't really give you a proper opinion about the others cos I never played them enough, although virtual fighter on the saturn paved the way for my Tekken fetish.
how many of you guys are too young to know what Im talking
about?
haha PSX: hmmm.....got to be FF7, MGS, gt2, Tekken 3 and Driver (the first one)
only ever played Columns on the megadrive....
I couldn't see past the blurry picture whenever I had a go on an N64.....
Virtua Fighter on the Saturn was OK.
never played on Dreamcast.
