Yes your 40mb HD will fill up quick :) You wont be able to get even 1 ep on there :) The new ep is 517mb, expect that to be the normal size for each of the 24 eps. The whole season would take 12.4GB.

What connection do you have? Also normally they are VCD episodes and a 42-44 min ep is usually about 430mb. So maybe it will be about 450 - 500mb if its a mpg. Or anywhere from 100mb if its a bad quality avi. Also depends on the speed of the send. Just getting a 410mb file at 4k/s, going to take 27 hours. Some servers have fast sends and can easily send to you at over 30k/s, but some your lucky if you can get 10k/s.

You have a point. But only real fans bother to download them. I am getting the current seasons of a few series, but will be sitting down and watching them when the air on Sky One and Living TV next year.

But, and there is a BUT, if too many people download the episodes, then when it comes to airing, not as many people would watch it, as they've already seen it, meaning TV channels are less likely to want to pay for a program less people would watch.

Internet Relay Chat. Go to www.mirc.com and download it. Its basically a chat program, with tons of different servers and rooms. Best to try and connect to DALnet and search for a 24 room. How it works is just like a FTP or MSN where files are shared between users.

Really getting Tv episodes off the internet isnt piracy. There not asking for money before you watch an episode. The episodes are airing for free in America and will air over here for free some time next year.

Sorry, what's IRC (hangs heads in embarresment)

I don't condone piracy but am impatient and want to watch the program asap, I am not cheating anyone out of any revenue. It won't even start being shown on TV here until March and won't be on sale on DVD until Xmas 2003.
