PS2 have messed up again.

People who brought it wasted thier money as the games cost a lot.

Sony should of waited, because now there are problems. They were good with the playstation. But unfortunatly not with PS2.

They take more time on PS1 and not on PS2.

Stupid people...............

I had a little problem with Timesplitters. I loaded up the story mode on the Chinese level, it took quite a bit to load then when it did the text was all funny. All the text even the level discpretion. When I picked up a weapon the text was also funny. Reloaded the level and then everything was alright. This just happened the once.

Vai , try letting the PS2 cool down so if you play it for long periods of time turn it off. I never usually leave mine on standby I always turn it off, I leave it on standby if I was going to be turning it back on in 2omins. Try loads of games if they freeze in the same place it could be the game. Last hope ring Sony or leave it till a few months as you still have the 1 years guarantee on it so you wont need to exchange it( If there is a problem) till they can replace it as that will be next year.

Just for the record...

Driver 2 crashed once on my PS1. So far, no problems on my PS2 - but I've not played it much yet.

The only time I've had crashing problems is with PSX games, TR Chronicles and Driver2.

The TR Chronicles crash was due to the change in disc speed, I think; I turned the disc speed back to normal and it was fine.

Dunno about the Driver 2 one.....Driver 2's a bit buggy anyway with slowdown and even occasional freezing on my PSX.

Mine has been on solid for the last two days, i've been playing Tekken Tag and Fantavision, and i have not had any such problems. I have also played 2 DVD's without incident.

Hope this problem is just a glitch and nothing more sinister.
