Tonight is a deadline for my team Newcastle to get their act together and play like they've never played before to keep in the Champion's league. Its a big shame that the match is not on tonight's TV (Don't have Sky or other than that) But the highlights are still there :D

I really hope they do well in defence tonight as thats their weakness, Not heading it to the box, but clearing it!! With shearer scoring goals, Even though their game vs blackburn wasn't what i hoped it too be :'( Shearer is still in there sticking the ball in the net :)

Shay Given is not doing the best hes ever had either, maybe he tries too hard or something. That goal vs Blackburn when it just basically slipped out of his hands was kinda of painful site to see... and also the goal he passed it to hughes on the far left that was marked i think it was in the chelsea match. It got out of had for Newcastle and Chelsea got a simple goal.

Good Luck Newcastle :D

(Sorry for anyone who think this is a pointless topic but i kinda don't think it is)

Bellamy isn't scoring but he is working hard off and on the ball. He is currently rated the second best striker in the Premiership which was a poll done by all the managers in the Premier League. Its a shame however that his Knee is causing even more problems, he has gone back over to America to the specialist and will be missing the Kiev game on Wednesday. Still I was very impressed by Ameobi against Charlton so it will be nice to see either him or Lua Lua playing on Wednesday night.

Ture about harper, otherwise is there to much pressure on Shay? He seems to be doing unavarge for his great skill that he can do. Anyway. I hope that we learnt the mistakes that we came arross Dynamo Kiev and counter it i think it was the formation that we did vs them wasn't that great at all. Is it me or Lua Lua this season is doing great but with Bellamy missing alot of chances he has have had, I finding that Lua Lua with shearer is a great pair and should be tried out again. The dream of getting through the Group stages is distance but also if do, Then the some of our (I think we have some) Money problem could be solved a little more. :) Newcastle all the way!

Don't get me wrong I like Steve Harper but his lack of match practice worries me more than anyhing else, some of the mistakes he made against Juventus could have prooved very costly indeed (especially the Nedved slip). They still have a game in hand which can technically put them 3rd but realistically due to goal difference they will probably end up fith just behind Man .U. who have conceeded fewer goals. I am looking forward to Wednesday very much, I don't have SKY TV so its a chance to watch them with out going up to Tyne Side. Dynamo Kiev are deadly on their own pitch but they travel very badly, Newcastle should bag the points and hopefully Bellamy will be back :)

I will start off by saying that I am a very big Newcastle United fan!

Newcastle's problem is their defence and it has been for 2-3 seasons now. They have limited funds due to Dalgliesh and Gullit who managed to take Newcastle to a rock bottom low. Signing Bramble hasn't made much of an impact to the Newcastle defence although it gives them rotation if Dabizas isn't performing (too many of there performances). I am a big fan of O'Brien and I believe he brings strength in depth to a defence which needs someone experienced. Its not a case of Newcastle trying harder its more of a case of finding a defender to partner O'Brien and as of yet I am unsure about Bramble.

Going forward I believe that Newcastle play some of the most exciting football in Europe. Its nice to see Robert getting his first goal today as I believe this will kick start his season after poor performances in quite a few games this season. Does anyone have Newcaslte World from NUFC.co.uk? Its very good and you can download the Newcastle radio station and listen to every single game of the season where ever they play.

As for the comment about Newcastle never beating Juventus, that is a very childish and immature comment. Newcastle deserved more in Italy and the result didn't represent their performance, Shearer had a goal dis allowed for Dyer's offside even though he wasn't interfearing with play.

Anyway I am just off to listen to the after match report :)

That's what I was thinking, but they won 1-0.

Just hope that they win there last 2 games and hope Juventus beat Kiev, for Newcastle to qualify.
