If Common Sense is so common, why is it such a valuable trait?
Surely if it's common, then pretty much everyone has it, and so there need not be such a fuss about it.

For me, common sense is like:
If you buy a cup of tea from McDonalds, it's going to be hot. So don't put the cup between your legs as you drive away, then sue McDonalds when it burns you as you didn't realised it was hot.
Maybe it's just Non-American sense. As in, everyone who's not American has it....?

Common sense is common, but it doesn't come in common amounts. Some people have more than others, and they sometimes know how to use in a more effective way. Following common sense rigidly may mean that some excitement of life is taken away, but then you could say that it is common sense to get a little enjoyment in your life. Hmm?
