OK I want to see how my athlon XP 1700+ compares to a processor actually running at 1700MHz so could someone post their SiSoft SANDRA 2002 Pro CPU arithmetic and Multimedia benchmarks here, mine are:

Arithmetic

Dhrystone ALU: 4036 MIPS
Whetstone FPU: 2019 MFLOPS

Multimedia

Integer aEMMX/aSSE: 7914 it/s
Floating Point aSSE: 9282 it/s

(I’m quietly confident – looking close to P4 2.0GHz in comparison cpus)

Yeah I know :-)

As I said, it's a great little Ti500. I'm running it at 265/575, Ti4200s run at 250/550, stock for Ti500s is 200/500.

The benchmark was performed at defaults.

Turbo that is a pretty high 3dmark even for a geforce 3 ti500 that isnt much less than the ti4600's is that using 3dmark 2001SE and with what setting are you using.

Oh, and I get 9761 3DMarks last time I checked, but I'm generally clocking higher than that these days, over 10,000 I garauntee.

Well I don't know about your eye, but put me in front of 26fps and 75fps and I bet I could pick out which one is before I've even sat down.

Tv is only 26 fps you may find that higher fps feel smoother though.

Dunno exactly how it works, or how true that is about the eye, but there is a /very/ noticeable difference between 26fps and 75fps..

Anyway, I run a gf3 ti500, overclocked, and I'm certain my bottleneck is my cpu, will get a new one at some point. Much as I hate to say it, Rob's right ;), I'm sure I remember reading about the r9700 scaling with the cpu too...you'll get a hell of a lot more out of it with a faster processor - more evidently than with the nVidia cards. Anyway, got paid on Saturday, new cpu here I come =)

Just the original 64MB unit. I don't think it has any special flashy name or go-faster logo. I had it as an option on my MAXX from SR just after it was released here, and it added over £400 to the cost of the machine...

The human eye doesnt notice anything over 26fps, turbo was wondering what your graphics card gets in 3d mark?
