Does anyone know of any good deals on PCs at the mo? Has to be from a high street shop as it's not me paying for it (just cancelled an online order which was giving me loads of grief over this)

Looking for a P4, 2.53, with 512DDR and a 17inch monitor. the rest is insignificant.

not true at all, they're more expensive than buying/building yourself, but with DELL you'll get very good quality and a good build.

You'll probably find your motherboard will be the most costly item.

lol dell are alright....... but those big name Computer suppliers will always been expensive.

I've always liked Dell...

If you give them a ring they can usually get a nice little package sorted out.

I've only had one prob in 3 years I've had my PC and that is that the DVD drive is quite crap and runs really slowly now, apart from that, I got quite a god deal at the time...

Unfortunatly not, but I would suggest looking in any local 'non-chain' stores. As it seems most independant traiders in computers do better deals, and can customise them more so.
