No doubt England will win of course, and they've actually just pulled a goal back, but what a brilliant corner kick.
Seaman and Scholes are both planks, and they should've had it covered.
And did you see the picture of the Macedonian fans when they scored - there were about 20 of them altogether, no joke.
:-D
1 - 1 at the moment, but what a goal from Macedonia!
Go you bunch of un-heard of foreigners!
:-D
But where were our "fantastic" strikers? Where were "striker supreme" Owen, Heskey and Smith? Both goals from midfielders. I mean, Christ, even Wales managed to beat Italy, and they've only got one half decent player!
I wish Seaman, Cole and Campbell had all been 'ill' and had a break...
Me three (indeed, three...). Then at least we would have had a chance of winning...
> Again I don't see what Seaman could have done about it

I agree.
It was Paul Scholes - did you see him on the goal line at the back post?
He ducked.
Again I don't see what Seaman could have done about it - people have scored direct from corners before, and questions haven't been asked of the goalkeeper involved.
But regardless of that - come on! 1-0 and 2-1 to Macedonia? You can't blame a 'keeper for that - what about the 10 players in front of him? Where are they hiding?
Anyway, Seaman still does the business for Arsenal, and I couldn't give a stuff about England generally - they're hopeless. I wish Seaman, Cole and Campbell had all been 'ill' and had a break, and I just hope these dire international performances don't affect their play for Arsenal. Once they get back among some quality players, they should be okay.
Even if England win by 10 goals, it doesn't matter, they've shamed themselves by letting in two goals from Macedonia. If onl Sol Campbell hadn't joined Arsenal.....
It's a brilliant match!
:-D
2-1.
:-D
