So I thought I'd help my computer ran a bit better with some more RAM:
" DIMM - 128 MB RAM, 168 PIN, PC 100 MHz, SYNCHRONOUS. This DIMM is widely compatible. Please consult your motherboard manual before ordering. RAM can be fitted for you in any Special Reserve Shop. 100% backwards compatible with PC66. "
That one for about £20
Now is this worth it?
Is there a chance it won't work at all and will have wasted £20?
Do I really need to contact motherboard people?
Thanks
My computer will be fast
YAY
Remove the left hand panel of your case. Locate your current RAM. Push your new RAM in to place in an adjacent slot, making sure the clips are firmly clipped. If you're hurting your fingers while pushing you're pushing too hard, probably denoting the RAM is the wrong way round. Close up your case, then power on!
Tip, leave your computer's powe cable plugged in, and touch the case before you start, just to earth yourself and ensure you don't fry the chips, as if the chances of that happening weren't miniscule already.
So how would I go about fitting this then?
What are the chances of me breaking computer whilst fitting it?
Why not ask someone else with a Solo or Mastercard to pay for it and you give them the cash?
They don't accept Visa Electron anyway so I wouldn't buy from here
