We all love playing our consoles and games but we need to ask the question WHY do we love games so much.
My hypothesis is that it is a human instinct to win from the dawn of time we want to be the best. The cave men fighting, large battles, and the occasional nuclear holocost(oh wait that not happened-YET) and the occasional fight at school, or the pub.
And this is why it is more enjoyable beating one of your mates at a game or playing a multiplayer we just love to win and have our names at first place in the table. Also I suppose for some its just great fun.
