Yep that's right, EA have canned the PS2's Aliens game, got this info from Gamespot:
"Further to our reporting that Aliens: Colonial Marines was "on hold" back in June, Electronic Arts has today confirmed that the game has indeed been cancelled and that there are no plans to pick up its development in the future. Our source at Electronic Arts could not comment on why the game had been cancelled but said that although they had only heard about it recently, they believed the decision was taken a couple of months ago."
Damn, it looked like a great game as well, and had some good ideas thrown in. Shame it's been cancelled.
