Now, before anyone starts, I am well aware of his support and championing of a musical genre, helping to bring it overground and gain respectability in this country.
I'm also aware of his high-regard by artists in the genre and I do not doubt his committment to his love of the music - he's 100% genuine and done everything he can to support his genre.

But.......

Tim Westwood.
What a tossfaced wigga.
Honestly, I listened to his show for the 1st time in years last Friday and heard him being interviewed.
"Yeah baby, let's drop da bomb, a'ait?"
"It's all day baby, it's da mad bomb, c'mon baby drop da bomb..yeah baby"
(explosion sound)
"Damn baby, dass hot, yeah"
(explosion sound again)
"Oh my god, it's getting mad bomb in here baby, bomb!"

He's a 38yr old Vicar's son from Cambridge, so why does he speak like he's been raised by The Wu-Tang Clan and dresses like he's a gang-banger from Compton?
Like I said, I do not doubt his integrity and support of a genre that although fashionable now, once used to be considered a joke yet he stuck by it.
But come on, you have to admit either his personality is a joke OR he's the most misguided, unintentionally funny bloke on radio.

Is he like that at home?
"Morning Tim, would you like some cornflakes?"
"Oh my god! Drop da bomb baby (makes explosion with his mouth) It's getting hot in here!"
"...is that a yes then dear?"
"Is kickin' off mad hot up in da joint baby!" (explosion with mouth)
"...stop that"

He should definately win some sort of comedy award.

Here's an idea: MAybe they should put him on in the afternoon instead of that fat idiot Moyles. Can you imagine Westwood introducing a Steps track or something. Pure comedy genius!

Can't stand the guy - I sure he thinks he is black or something. I have listened to him for amusement before but the music he plays ain't my thing either.

Bomb and craaaaaaazy seem to be his two favourite words.
He once said "let me give a big shout out to my hommies in da hood" and I nearly crashed the car laughing.
