The problem I always found with tekken 3 (the best in the series by far) was that once you and your mates reach a certain level of profficiency, the fights consist solely of:

dodge
dodge
try to throw, miss
punch
counter
"chicken"
try to throw
dodge
dodge
kick
counter
chicken
"special throw"
kick
counter
chicken
punch
counter
chicken
dodge
etc
etc
etc

Old-style Jin(up to tekken tag) , he's still good in Tekken4 but his new stylee(Karate) takes some gettting used to (he's nowhere near as fast)
