Firstly my TV blew up while I was watching the Arsenal highlights. (That'll teach me not to watch crap!)
I was laying in bed watching the highlights when the picture starting fuzzing, all the menus started popping up and it ventually shut off. I got up to report the problem to my parents upstairs when I smelt a burning plastic static smell. It stunk the whole downstairs out and I had to sleep on the couch in the lounge! I got to see Robbie Keane score though! Shame though that my whole room stinks of frazzled electronics now, I can smell it everywhere!
That's not all though!
Now my bloody Hi-Fi has blown up too! I get a new CD, put it in and it hisses and blows up.
I got nothing to do now, can't watch TV or play my GC in my room anymore and my Hi-Fi has stopped working too!
Not only can I not play CDs in my room, my PC has stopped playing music CDs too! No sound comes out! I had to convert the whole CD to Mp3 before I could finally listen to it!
It's just not my day!
Well....................
...and I replaced the fuse.
TV
Video
Digital Box (yep the Box in my room)
Gamecube
Dreamcast
PS1
N64
Mates PS2 (so a DVD player too)
GBC
and it ruled.
"I think it's broken" he says...
There's a short circuit on the bottom of the circuit board, looks like I'm gonna have to get a new TV!
*gets ready to dial 999*
"Is that safe?" I ask
"The worst that can hapen is that it will burst into flames," he says...
My Dad's so brave!
:c)
Now I have two TVs in my room, but they're both pappy small ones, and the contrast and colour keep flickering. One has my 64 and PS1 set up, the other has my video player and Sky Digital box. Yes. I have my own Sky Digital box. So I can change channels and stuff, but I have to get up to change the volume because these TVs don't have remotes either! Nothing worse than having to get out of bed to turn your TV down in the middle of the night because you're keeping people awake
I liked playing the GC in bed using this thing they call a scart cable...
Nice picture and I can just go to sleep once I get bored!
> On the plus side, your head didn't blow up.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL
