Racial connotations were never intended? I think they were....

Also there is a radio station for new black music - none for new white music. While I'm not bothered myself, I know there would be a fuss if there was one.

Indeed - something struck me last week with all the publicity over the MOBO awards - if there was a MOWO awards how much shouting about racism would there have been then ?

I feel really sorry for him. It doesn't sound as he meant it offensively.

Slightly off topic it really annoys me when pointing out that someones skin colour is different is seen as racisit. Is it racisit if you notice that I am a woman. Surely its only racist if you discriminate against someone because their skin is a different colour.

And why is it okay for people to say things to a person of the same race that would be seen as offensive if said by a member of a different race?
