Like if you jump out a moving car you still move in the same direction as the car before you hit the ground, you don't just shoot out straight (at right angles to the spot where you jumped).

I can't get my head round it...the train continues to move while you are in the air...you don't move forward so shouldn't you land on a new spot?
I should sit down before I hurt myself...oh wait.
Tomorrow I think I will jump on the train to see what happens.
(You will look a prat)
I know that. But I need to prove a point.
Ever seen a fly in a metro/car/bus? They're flying around like they're indoors, but in reality they're going the same speed as the car or whatever. How come they don't get sucked to the back of the car?
