Just saw that on 1st of August there are a few games coming out at around £18

Ratchet & Clank (Great Game)
Uncharted; Drake's Fortune
Motorstorm
Heavenly Sword
Resistance

A couple of good games, and it is nice to see that Playstation owners will start to get rather cheap games, because a pre-owned platinum game must be at most £15 - so looking good!

Does anyone know how a game actually becomes platinum, is it by amount of sales generated??

I am looking forward to seeing some more titles and it will allow people to pick up cheaper games in them spells where you have nothing to play!

If anyone else knows more games coming then post them on here!

Just found that on places like Amazon Ratchet and Clank and other platinum games are like £16, so its getting near that time where you can get 2 playstation 3 games for your GAD wins!!

It is a great game, if you like the demo then you will really enjoy the full game!

Assassins creed was a good game, i had it but found it got repetitive, and traded it lol.

Kind of wish i didnt, but i am just stuck on Battlefield at the moment, so not many games get a look in

The requirements for games to go platinum on PS2 were that they have to have sold over 400,000 copies and be at least six months old, so may follow that.

Virtua Tennis 3

Assasins Creed is a must have!

R&C ToD - is one of my favourite games on Playstation 3, great graphics, story and everything about it just makes you want to complete it and go back and play it again.

I might need to pick up a copy again, i had to trade mine for Call of Duty 4, didnt have any cash, but i made sure i completed it!

Heavenly Sword is pretty good, just very short, so makes a perfect game to have on a budget. It's also very pretty and shows the PS3's graphics off well.

Uncharted is great too and i'll be getting myself a cheap copy of R&C too.

It's sales, yes. If it's anything like records going platinum then they'd have to have sold 1,000,000 copies.
