As a lowly 15 year old, I have never been to a gig. Ever. I live just outside Reading, but I still managed to miss the festival.

But...

October 15th, Van Morisson.

January 15th, Counting Crows at Wembely.

January 16th, Counting Crows in Bournemouth.

March, RHCP, London Docklands.

Oh yes. All I need now is to see Clutch and System Of A Down. Then I will have truely lived.

Yes, and they were fantastic. It was the first date I had with my current boyfriend. They are his favorite band so he invited me to see them play.

Rosalind, Cradle of filth?!?!?!?! I'll let you off cos there are some other cool bands in there.

I've seen too many bands to list, Partly because I've been to every reading since 95, and I wrote the website fo the local promotors and get free access to the gigs from it (One minute silence and glassjaw were the last couple).

Best gig ever must be either RATM playing a secret warmup gig at our local flea pit (i was on the guest list and got my sleeves signed!), foo fighters on the evening session stage at reading 95 or hed pe at ozzfest 98.

Any metal/goth gigs coming up does anyone know? Also, anyone else going to see tenacious D on 3rd nov(ish) in london?

IO was a lampy on Technical services at Uni so I've seen a fair few bands. (Didn't have to pay for gigs at all.) Including:

Blur
Ash
Reef
Placebo
Terrorvision
3 Colours Red
Soulfly
Cradle of Filth
The Fall
Cyclefly
Fungus
Lamb
Medulla Nocta
Paul Okenfold (who???)
Orbital
Tindersticks
Ultrasound
Yo-yos

And loads more mainly dodgy metal bands, that I really can't remember. The Best was undoubtedly Cradle of Filth. What a show. I really enjyed doing the lighting for soulfly. Did it all in red and green, It looked coooool.

Moral of the story if your going to uni join technical services and be a lampie, you get to play with lots of pretty colours.

Get out and see those bands - there's nothing like seeing them playing live.

Bands I have seen live include

Queen - Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium.
Fleetwood Mac
Madonna
Saxon
U2
Wishbone Ash
Uriah Heap
Sweet
Def Leppard
Guns and Roses
Metallica
Foreigner
Boomtown Rats
Pink Floyd
Deep Purple
Fine Young Cannibals
Thin Lizzy

Does this lot age me or what ?
And some others but I can't be bothered to sort it out.

I went to see U2

That's it

Going to see Manics in December

Most of the bands I want to see play at Barrowlands though... which is too hard to get to, usually over 18 gigs and many people get stabbed AND I have no money and none of mates want to go

Can't wait till I'm a dirty student

I only went to my first gig in July, but what a first gig it was :D. Oasis at Finsbury Park. Since then I've only been to v2002, but I managed to see lots of great bands there. In the future I'm going to see...

Coldplay/Idlewild - Tomorrow :D
The Vines - 16th October (I think)
Electric Soft Parage 31st October
Oasis - 18th December

Where can I get Crows tickets??? :D

Thanks,

I have only been to a few concerts but since reading this I have found out that the Counting crows are playing glasgow in January and tickets go on sale on Wednesday morning.

I missed the last concert as I flew to America the day of the concert.

Thanks for posting this. :-)
