I could have posted this in the WWE forum but they would have just moaned at me!
Anyway, I've decided that WWE is the Marmite of the TV world, you either love it or hate it. I personally think that it's the biggest pile of crap ever!
The storylines are boring and the acting is just crap, how can you enjoy cheering on a person who already has a fate for that match? It's all a fix and I just can't understand the fun of it!
Now that's my view of it, nothing will change my mind, it will always be a boring lump of poo when I think of it.
But what do you people think of it, and why do you enjoy/hate it?
I just can't see the fun in it, I know someone will have a good reason and I will accept it but please just tell me why people love it so much?
P.S Is there an age limit when people stop liking it? I get scared when I see 40 year old Americans cheering on their favourite wrestler in the front row of a 'show.' There is no match to be fought, it's a show!

It's not fake, though. Maybe the punches, but is there some sort of force field protecting their back and neck from the canvas? What about the chair shots, kicks and chops - you hear them too.
If you think about wrestling is an artform, and learn to enjoy it, then there's not much more entertainment than a great pro wrestling bout.

It's not fake, though. Maybe the punches, but is there some sort of force field protecting their back and neck from the canvas? What about the chair shots, kicks and chops - you hear them too.
If you think about wrestling is an artform, and learn to enjoy it, then there's not much more entertainment than a great pro wrestling bout.

Just a feeling!
I do respect tose people because it takes a lot of skill to pull off some of the moves but some of the acting is baaaaaad!
Like the throw a punch and miss by 30cm trick!
I just can't see the fun in it, if it wasn't scripted then maybe I would think better but it's just so fake it makes me laugh!
Not saying that I could do any better, I'd get squashed!

At its best, wrestling is fantastic. Some wrestlers are the best athletes in the world, and although you may not like the idea, you can't call people who regularly sommersault through tables from 12-foot ladders and steel cages 'a lump of poo.'
Even if you don't like it, you should try and respect it for what these people to do every week.
Oh, and one more thing...
