Swapped Unreal Tournament 2003 for Hitman 2.

I've only done the training level bit in the monastary, but already I've garotted a scarecrow and shot some pigs.
Oh, and a pigeon.

Then I shot the scarecrow and garotted him some more.
Balls to playing the missions, I'm just doing this bit forever.

I hate scarecrows.

I was wondering i f people thought that it will last you long because i need a game that will keep me occupied until vice city comes out. Has anyone completed it once through yet because i know it has replayability but if someone has completed it already then it would probs be too short. Unless of course it's well addictive and you played it for about 48 hours straight.

I want Hitman 2. I loved the forst one, but I only have one question. Do bullet holes still appear on the people you shoot? because that was so extreme.

I've no idea how you use the glass & poison either (?).
And the phone & pager (?).

Just goes to show that there's probably several different ways of completing each mission I suppose.

The generals in the park: I killed one with the sniper rifle from the tower, and as the other wet his pants and ran for his limo, I'd already choked the chauffeur earlier whilst he was having a slash and planted a bomb. Ha, I just watched the map and waited for the muffled BOOM.

Excellent game.

Ok, I've reached Japan now.
I have a few questions for anyone that's played it.

On the Embassy level, I strangled the bloke in the loo and nicked his tux so I can wander about. What's the point in picking up the wine glasses? Or the poison? Or the chocolates? I didn't use them at all.

And with rescuing the guy from the interrogation room, anyone know what the mobile phone and pager is for? Didn't use those either.

Have to say, despite my initial misgivings on the demo, this game is bloody good. No idea what the console versions are like, but the PC is stunning. Dragging the people around is much, much better than MGS2 - watch them bounce down stairs, legs get caught on doorways etc - the physics engine is incredible.

It's stealthy enough that you can sneak about or wander around dressed like a delivery boy, but should you get discovered you can then unholster a weapon and go for it.
And the assasination of the blokes in the park? Sniper rifle from the tower roof?
Nah, got the bombs, went down into the sewer and planted one underneath 1 limo - climbed out and killed the chauffeur of the 2nd, put his gear on and stuck a bomb on the 2nd limo.
Back into the sewer and just waited for the explosions.
Easy-peasy.

Top fun, with optional sneak-abouty stuff

I love the way you always find your own way to play the games you play.

Shame there are no elves to smite.

If only there was a patch that turned the scarecrow into an elven scarecrow.

:o)
