Does it pick up? I have a GAD and a longing for a game in my selection which entitles me to get into conversations with 'real' gamers.
God that's pathetic.
It's actually a little harder than I was expecting, on Mario 64 the early levels were so easy.
Anyway, my wife and I are enjoying it very much, but - get this - niether of us actually fancy Mario.
We know it's just a game, and he does not really exist you see.
I don't know, maybe it's because were a little older, in our 20's, and understand these things, or maybe, just maybe the concept of a 'Mario fancier' was invented by daft little bed-wetters that attach some level of importance to an individuals console and games of choice?
Anyway one who says it's not very good obvioulsy has either not really played it much, wouldn't know a amazingly fun game if it came up and bit them on the ar$e or thinks they're too 'mature' for it and would probably be better off prancing around in Tombs looking at pixelated boobs and swearing at the repetetive boring gameplay.
What the hell? Mario rules! Play it for an hour and there will be a permanent smile on your face - it's inventive, vivid, superb fun - it actually requires players to think and rewards them. Believe me, its much better than anything PS2 can offer - Jak and Daxter aren't fit to clean Marios moustache.
