Man i cannot beleive how much this game is going to rule! I have played the PC version a little round a few mates houses, my PC is crap :p
But it looks soo cool! Its definately on my most wanted list now, I found a passage in an XBM "Free" booklet about Xbox games
"Black and White was and is a masterpiece of PC gaming. Marrying different styles of gameplay: managment, strategy and (bizarrely) the virtual pet game, it created a unique and magical gaming experiance. And now its coming to Xbox! The idea is this. You play a god and your objective is to rule over the land of Eden. You go about this by convincing the local tribesmen to beleive in you and helping them to reproduce - after all, the more tribesmen there are, the more people there are to beleive in you and the more power you have. With more power you'll be able to defeat your rival gods and convert their worshippers to your cause. The xbox version will be different to the PC one in many respects. Apart from looking a lot nicer (check the furry creatures!) the control of your creature will be done directly through the joypad. Your creature will also be used for casting miracles (spells) and fighting other gods creatures aswell."
Its meant to be out 2003.
I thought the game was brillaint and i think lionhead will come up with a nice console version of the PC classic.
Sure, it seemed a nice idea at the time, but after a week or so of play it got extremely boring. Raising the creature was a real nuisance and burden, rather than a fun task and the rest was just repetitive and tedious.
It isn't a patch on classics such as Roller Coaster Tycoon and Deus Ex.
The choice to select this is an Xbox game remains nothing else to me at the moment than a choice. I will probably stay away from this game unless the interface and gameplay is improved.

That maybe your opinion, Not mine.
I'm still hoping that the sequel will be as good as the first one was supposed to be.
I'm sure it'll end up being a really good game. :-)
You can't train the creature and play with him?
That takes the fun out of the game!
