How much of a difference would be noticeable between 256mb DDR and 512mb SDR RAM cos my friend says his still gives better performance but i cant see any speed difference in games or windows at all

I'd rather have 256Mb DDR ram though, I don't need 512Mb and DDR's lovely...
i've got 384Mb and i'm pretty sure my 256Mb stick is pants!
Ebuyer's ram is poo! don't buy it :D

DDRs about 2 times faster than SDram, i'd definatly go with DDR, but as the other guys have said, if you don't need more than 256Mb, it's not worth buying more.

Depends what you're running really. I couldn't live without 512mb at the moment, it really depends.
