So how many Shines you got so far?


I have got 0. because it hasn't arrived yet :-(

What is it you need to find? I can help you, you know. Is it the secret of the shell episode?

I have only 82, it annoys me! how frustrating is it doing all that jumping? ARGH! but i like a challenge :)

Apparently there isn't a black water nozzle box and a yoshi on this level.

I managed to clock-up to 96 today. :)
Still need 24 more though. :(

I've got a bad feeling that a LOT of those are going to come from Blue Coins - and that's a LOT of Blue Coins might I add...

Collectiong Blue Coins is so-boring, especially when you don't know where to look. I'd rather be looking for more Shines Mario 64-style, where you must complete one episode per each Star.

There's only a handfull of Episode ones left too. :(

I've out done myself yet AGAIN! I have now got 119 shines with only 231 blue coins
I think that these obstacle courese are a right pain but the easiest cures for that is a huge amount of lives and a lot of trial and error attempts at them, then you will succeed.

D. Plaza = 19 Blue coins, 37 shines
Airport = 1 blue coin, 2 shines
Corona mountain= 10 blue coins
Bianco hills= 26 blue coins, 11 shines
Ricco harbour= 29 blue coins, 11 shines
Pinna park= 30 blue coins, 11 shines
Gelato beach= 30 blue coins, 11 shines
Serina Beach= 29 blue coins, 11 shines
Noki bay= 29 blue coins, 11 shines
Piant village= 27 blue coins, 10 shines

Not bad might I say, just 10 left, oh and for some of the Noki bay ones just spray all of the walls that have holes in and next to as well on certain levels. There are 4 easy coins inside the lair of that bad teeth monster, there is a blue coin on top of a pillar in each of the four corners of his lair they are near the top)

I'm certain that you can only get-off of a Blooper by exiting the Area.
I've tried everything else, and it's damn-annoying when you die after crashing! :(

But i'm glad to say that I have now completed this game - and I did it on Tuesday afternoon! :D
I may only have 89 Shine Sprites, but i'm proud to have done it! :)


When you get to him, Bowser's voice is hillareous, and he's not too-hard to beat either. However, the actual Volcano level before him has to be one of the - if not THE - hardest in the game.
It was fun going back to the very-first part of the game too.


Now all I need to do is go-find those remaining Shines...

Shame there's no unlockable character or anything to make you really want to play through it again or anything though. :(

Basically, how do I get off of a Blooper?

I had a star to get after 100 coins and I couldn't get off and crashed. Damn thing.
