I have got 0. because it hasn't arrived yet :-(
And those friggin' boats on the laca, ARGH!
I have also had the game a week and I have got 79 shines! I can access all the levels and secret shines on the Delfino plaza area (but some are really hard to get). I have had it up to here on the 6th level of Ricco Harbour can't get them all.
And i've also had it for a whole week now. :)
Got Yoshi now, and i've unlocked all 3 of FLUDD's Nozzles.
I can't seem to do that level where you have to clean the Eel's teeth though... I think I managed to clean them all once, but I then ran-out of air. It's damn annoying, and I don't like thise swimming control-system compared to the one of Mario 64.
Also, I never thought it would be posible to squirt water UNDERwater...?
It's a bit disappointing that there's nothing else that'll happen (just a few secret shines and some blue coins left) but never mind.
I think Nintendo plan to have a new Mario game out within a year though.
I've thought about this short 'n sweet policy a fair bit now.
I'm happy with more shorter games, but not at £40 a game (especially when American's are only paying up to £25!!). Perhaps this Fair Play campaign should be done.
If they do make a new Nario, as good as Fludd was in this one, I wouldn't want "it" to be a standard feature in the rest of the series...
I'd also like to see a return of the Koopa Troopa - jumping on them and kicking their shells about would be great.
I'm really glad that Nintendo took out Mario's punching and kicking moves in Sunshine. They seemed so out of place in Mario 64...
