What the hell is Acclaim thinking about when they say they're gonna pay for anyones speeding tickets on Oct 11th when Burnout 2 is released. Are their entire team retards or something?

I mean what the hell. This is the most stupidest outrage EVER. I cannot express how stupid this is. This will only encourage all the people that know about this story like the racing game phenatics and rude boys with their cars to think 'Oh it's okay If I speed, Acclaim are going to pay for it' Whoops....he just knocked over a child. And do Acclaim not realize that people can get points taken off their license for speeding??? AHHHHHHHH HAS THE WHOLE WORLD GONE NUTS!!!!

I agree though it does seem a bit dodgy paying for speeding fans. Lots of people are idiots and will take advantage of it, but they'd have to be really stupid.

Ah well Acclaim will probably get sued if someone knocks over a kid, the parents will blame them etc..

Although I think most people that speed on a regular basis will have nearly full points on their license and will just lose the ability to drive. But I think Goatboy summed it all up in two sentences.

It's publicity, it's marketing, and they've obviously thought it all over.

Shut it Possum. Why be so law abiding? Cameras are only there to grab money anyway so all I can say is welldone to Acclaim, it's just a shame that the police are still getting money out of it.

An advert that just came up at the top of SR just said that Burnout2 got 10/10 from psw magazine... or some magazine like that. Apparently its suppost to be alot better than the last one which was ok.

im gonna atleast rent it, or borrow it off someone.

When burnout2 came out for the US it was empithized(curse my bad spelling) at all. Maybe because it wasn't that good.:)
