If Microsoft want to release their second console at the same time as the PS3, in 2005, are you going to feel ripped off?

Buying a console that is replaced in just three years? Do you not think thats just a bit too early?

Oh and get YOUR facts straight before mouthing off. This is taken from Special Reserve spoken by some bald gimp that has somehting to do with Xbox 2

>But, it looks as though Microsoft have got their heads screwed on straight this time - the very fact that they're determined to launch before the PS3 (scheduled for a 2005 release) leads us to believe that work on the console infrastructure has already begun. Microsoft have always claimed that their next model would be more of a home entertainment unit than a simple console, possibly with a TiVo-style home DVD recorder, or some such other technological wizardry. Frankly, we're all rather >excited over talk about PS3 and Xbox 2 - it's like the future, but now.

so basically Xbox 2 will hopefully be out before PS3 which is out 2005, silly Gamezfreak, likes to jump on people when it is infact he who is wrong.

Tiltawhirl, I don't appreciate your comments, saying that i am telling a lie.

I did own a Gamecube, Did'nt like it and i took it back, is that fair?

Also, Telling me to sit on Bill Gates "Money Sausage" i don't apprectiate comments like that made towards myself and other Xbox users.

I always get a feeling Nintys have a bad attitude towards everything non-nintendo related.

Your a Nintendo fan fine, I'm an Xbox fan and damn proud of it.

I love Gaming, I don't give a damn about the company behind it, i'm not bothered about scrounging the internet for sales figures, I love playing my xbox and its excellent choice of games.

Nobody has confirmed any new consoles?

As far as I'm concerned, the gaming industry will be dead in 8 years!

Fosbe, in short, that was a load of bull.

And I know I would be annoyed if Nintnedo released a new console before the GC had been out at least 4 years. As for the GC, Nintendo said they were concentrating on games not giving up on hardware, which is why they said the GC will be going for about 7 years, not really surprising theres no news of a new console.

And if you need a rumour, I herad Nintendo were developing a new console. See, now there is a rumour.

As far as I am aware (aside from the SR news) the console isn't going to be released until 2006 so by then I will have owned my Xbox for 4 and a half years. I sold my PS2 within 9 months, my N64 within 2 years and my PSONE after 4 years. So as fasr as timing goes it will be just right for me changing consoles.

As for Nintendo, are they giving up on the gaming industry? No news of a new console from them as of yet and so far there aren't even any rumours.

Not really, you dont own a box and dont no what it feels like. Besides they might and should make all xbox games playable on the xbox 2.
