looking through the Spakrle NVidia cards, it seems the GEForce 3 Titanium (£100) is better than the Geforce 4 MX440/MX420 - based on fill rate etc.

I actually spotted today that SR have some Sparkle GeForce 4, TI 4200's with 128mb of DDR (unboxed) at hundred and forty pounds so changed my order to one of those.

no.... the ti200 has full direct x 8.0 support

Um. Mine runs all the benchmarks...
Silly boy. The ATI 9000 Pro is the only card sub-£100 that has full DX8.1 support. Pixel and Vertex shaders make a massive difference, just look ta 3D mark, the GF3 can;t even run all of the benchmarks due to a lack of hardware support.

I went for the GeForce 3 Ti, it should arrive in next couple of days - couldn't afford to spend any more money :(
