"Action replay box in GAME"

The action replay box is on the shelves in GAME for pre-order and nowhere on the box does it mention import game capabilities which surely must confirm that the freeloader isn't coming out and that datel can't actually make the discs. I'm sure edgy will be along to try and deny this but why doesn't the box mention import games, the only reason i can think of is that the import feature isn't included and why wasn't there any freeloader boxes if it's coming out at the same time. It seems like datel will eventually come out with some poxy excuse like they weren't satisfied with the peformance or something. A friend of mine bought that g-force mag because it said it had dvd footage of the freeloader playing import games but my friend couldn't find this supposed footage on the disc. Looks like vapourware then....

If Mario Sunshine was worth 3/10, then that's what it would get, but that's also never going to happen.

Anyway, if all goes to plan, the Freeloader will be out before the next issue of G-force, so technically, Datel wont be lying.

Datel had/have the cheek to say that Freeloader is OUT NOW!!!

It's not up to Datel to say though. Sure, Datel have now advised on the FAQ not to buy any import games until the products are released, but that wasn't Datel's responsibility in the first place.

There was a law stating that anyone could make products for a console without license from the console developers.

That's because Datel fought for it when Nintendo tried to sue them over the old Gamesharks.

So no, using the Action Replay and Freeloaders does not invalidate your warranty (it's like saying an unoffical controller would).

Anyway, Resi Evil asks you to open your GameCube whilst the game is running - it's perfectly safe providing the 'Cube ain't trying to read the discs.

Sorry if i offended anyone it's just that datel should have told people not to buy any import games until it was released, i wonder how many people are sitting there with a U.S copy of resident evil,mario,starfox,animal crossing,super monkey ball 2 and others....

100% unofficial? You have to switch discs while the GameCube is on? Sounds a little unsafe to both the console and game. What about the warranty, does it invalidate it?

I didn't design the packaging, so I don't know.
