Only the first 4 songs have instantly grabbed me, but the rest are the sort I'll get into with more listens tonight and the next few days.
Also got The Streets album, that's bloody good as well.
Queens of The Stone Age - almost as good as Clutch in my world.
Glad you like it GB. Its funny I've a lot of friends who don't necessarily like to 'rock' but have bought this album and think its amazing.
*tips rock hat and nods*
Williams started off as a slam poet, if you can find it try and watch a film called "Slam", it features some of the most incendiary poems I've ever heard. Williams was like Langston Hughes, except he took his rhythms from hip hop, almost certainly including that song, instead of the blues and jazz Hughes used.
Then he eventually came full circle and recorded a hip hop album, which is pretty damn good. He's also got a Cornell type howl when he signs, which is always a good thing :-)
Still good though.
Check out "The Revolution will not be televised" by Heron, that's superb and has been sampled so many times it's not funny.
Try downloading Om Nia Merican because it samples a Rage riff plus Rocha howl and turns it into to something cool.
And "1987" is, lyrically, one of the best rap songs I've ever heard. It starts off as a dig at bling bling rappers, moves on to black slave ships and ends up with a short spoken word bit about showing feminine sides and having flowers shoved down throat. But it's damn good.
I've uploaded them on to my BTinternet pace because i can't find them on I-mesh, but the mp3's do sound a little flat. The album has much meaty bass, which rocks.
You can get them at:

and if that doesn't work, try www.btinternet.com/~kieranhappy
Queens of The Stone Age is damn good as well.
Happy, for top rock drumming, go download "Sinkemlow" or "Immortal" by Clutch.
