Okay that's the first half done, as you can see Smedlos is in the lead at the moment, though he didnt do so well in the second half. Must have been that full down the stairs ;)

Ah if you couldnt control his moves then yeah he wasnt playable, good thing no one went with him :)

Yea i haven't played it for years either so not sure, thought you could only control Cloud as i remember Sephy unleashing a cool attack and wishing he'd do that more often instead of just a normal boring slashy attack

You went around as Cloud in a flashback, but Sephiroth was also in your party, as he was there in the battles you fought... So he was in your party... But you didn't control what attacks / magic / etc. he used... So whether he was 'playable' or not is debatable... He is in your party for a while though...

(I haven't played the game in years, so don't kill me if I'm wrong...)

I think you could control him that one time, just choosing his attacks, or am I wrong? Havent played it in years so could be ^^

Could you play as Sephiroth? I thought he just automatically did his own thing
