Rare are now owned by Microsoft. According to Rare, 5 games are planned over the next 2 years.

2 of them have been announced as Kameo (originaly a planned release for the Gamecube). Second is the sequel most will want to hear about - Perfect Dark Zero.

No news on the other 3 yet but no doubt something will surface soon. Heres me hoping for Conker's. ;-)

So after ages of rumours and waiting, its finally official. Lets give a big waving smile to the Ninties people. :-))) ::waves::

Man, Aswell as the Rare games, im looking forward to the rest of the cool games coming to Xbox. I.Cannot.Wait.

Same here Sav, but when I said it about 4 Ninties said I was lying. They have sold their GameCubes because without Rare they can't see any good games apart from Metroid Prime to be released, the only reason they were keeping it was to play Resident Evil and they got bored with it in a weekend.

Yeah my friend sold his yesterday as he was only keeping it for Conker's. Apparently a number of other people sold theirs too which was backed up when I went with my friend to Gamestation in Southend and saw a bunch of pre-owned GC's in the window.

Rofl, 2 people have just gone and sold their GC and brought an Xbox.

Nice to see some excellent rare games coming to Xbox, I saw the article on Xbox.com about the Rare takeover, but never read all of it, the damn teachers told me off for not doing my IT work, Damn Year 11 :-(

I just saw Kameo footage. It's looking VERY good now.

The original GC footage showed promise, but was in early stages and lacked character. The game actually looked quite realistic back then.

I think Rare has gone for an over all "look" makeover.
Manga style characters (with the spikey coloured hair and all) in CGI visual settings. The closest previous games to it are Conker and Jet Force Gemini (which were probably Rare's most unique games).

I think it's the sort of style that Normad likes, although he might have been prefering something new...

Personally, I'm hoping for minimal sales.

The more of a "failure" the Xbox is, the more MS will cut it, the cheaper I will pick it up come march! :-)

It will definatly be interesting to see how the X-Box sells over Christmas. ;-)
