Rare are now owned by Microsoft. According to Rare, 5 games are planned over the next 2 years.

2 of them have been announced as Kameo (originaly a planned release for the Gamecube). Second is the sequel most will want to hear about - Perfect Dark Zero.

No news on the other 3 yet but no doubt something will surface soon. Heres me hoping for Conker's. ;-)

So after ages of rumours and waiting, its finally official. Lets give a big waving smile to the Ninties people. :-))) ::waves::

Exactly... Although i loved Conker it isn't why i bought a Gamecube.

I didn;t get a GC for Rare games - None of them were anywhere near completion in May.

5 games? Eh? 400 million dollars? Nintendo can pay Retro and Silicon Knights loads to make 5 each, all of amazing quality (ED/Metroid level I'm talking about) Whats the problem?

The Gamecube is still number 1 for me. I will get an X-box for the Dead or Alive, Jet Set Radio series and the Rare games. But Gamecube has far more games id like.

Fair enough, but Mario is the most popular gaming franchise.

Depends if people wanted Mario Sunshine or not, Not everyone is intended to like Mario you know Mav....

Some people brought a GC for the Rare games only.

I COULD.. but I can't be bothered... Anyway, with a few people trading in their GC's as of the Rare situation, Nintendo should bring the price down soon. Also, Mario Sunshine will definitely make up for it.

I haven't played Conker on the N64 so I can't say much about it, but the reviews I have read are amazing so I might check it out. What really excites me being a very big 1st Person Shooter fan is the likes of:

Halo 2
Doom 3
Perfect Dark 2
Deus EX 2
SWAT Global Justice
Operation Flashpoint
XIII
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
Rainbow Six Raven Shield

Now being a fan of a particular genre would someone please like to better that list with a chain of the same style games? Nope didn't think so ;)

Conker looks excellent. Really can't wait to see his next game on X-Box. :-)

Ironically, a few months back I was discussing with a couple of friends on how great it would be to see what the X-Box could do with a Conker game. Now it looks like we're gonna find out. :-)

LOL at that rare trailer. It was just like "bad fur day" all over again :)

Great to see Conker taking the spotlight in it, kinda like Rare's man man. He sure does look good with that chainsaw :)
