Should I upgrade from my PS2 to a Xbox or GameCube and when?

There are a few games starting to appear on XBox that look good. A few more, and I might consider getting an XBox.

There’s a couple of games on GameCube as well that are ok, perhaps in a few months time, the GC will be the one to get.

What other “exclusive must have” games are due on XBox and GameCube in the next few months?

Should I upgrade now, b4 Xmas, or next year?

The lack of DVD on GC is not a problem for me (i have a standalone DVD anyway).

No, I'm just amused by your facile ramblings. Are you feeling big and clever yet? ;)

Oh you were? ;)
I'm sorry, I'm not reading from the same "Spot learns the animal kingdom" book that you are, I'm still on "Spot revels at irony when idiots are allowed a keyboard". ;)

Gerrid quit because he couldn't compete. Neither yourself or Cubist are capable of doing so either. I'm quite happy to sit and educate your underdeveloped minds all night, I'm my own boss, and don't have school to attend. So it really is just a case of your own endurance. ;)

Arrogant? I do believe I said "ignorant". So much for you being top of the class for English. ;)

No, sorry, you aren't. ;)
As I pointed out above, very little of your comments have factual standing. Your comment on your aptitude for English shows just that, not to mention what you stated on consoles. ;)

> Oh well when you become a notable in your dream world

Oh dear, it appears that you little kids aren't smart enough to know a witicism when you see one. Guess I'd better stick to farting jokes until you've all learned enough to be able to spot them. ;)

> I’ll let you call me a "kid"

No, no, boy. I WILL call you kid, and you will just have to deal with it. ;)

As for your post I overlooked, obviously due to it's glaring unimportance, here is your response for that:

> I'm not being biased that is not a view it is a fact and I never said > any of the games I liked were innovative.

Do try to avoid backtracking, sonny. See, you stated that NO Nintendo games are innovative, and you stated that as if it were a bad thing. So if it's such a cardinal sin, obviously X-Box is a rubbish system too.

> And I never said rellying on thrid party games was bad I just said that > it is better in my oppinion (so not to distress your little brain > anymore)That it is better to have something to call your own that will > bring in the sales to your company.

*Laughs again*

You really are a cretin, aren't you? ;)
You shouldn't be casting aspersions as to the mental standing of those so obviously superior to you, when you have just made a repetition within a sentence, due to your lack of concentration. Read the above quote, then try to contain your embarassment, thanks. ;)

Again, do try not to back track, you were stating that third party development was a bad thing... the bulk of X-Box games are 3rd party efforts.

> Finally I really can't be bothered correcting you anymore

LoL... you really ARE ignorant. ;)

> Your acting like a JAT whose just bought his first console and has > nothing better to do than brag about it.

LOLOLOLOLOL... One, I'm not the fanboy, I haven't posted anything along the lines of "X-Box is the bestest coz Nintendo smells!". Yet you have. ;)

Secondly, I've owned more gaming systems in my lifetime than you knew existed, silly boy. The world didn't begin at Sony, Nintendo, Sega and Microsoft. So again, if either of us sound like they've just bought their first console it's the moron chirping on about how third party development is a bad thing (without stating a reason), and whinging about how Microsoft games are story-based and everyone else's just RELY on hype. Again, Halo anyone?

Stick in school, you need it. ;)

For me, broadband is a separate issue. I wont be buying an Xbox for that. Its very true that in London and some other area’s, broadband is up and running, hence the Xbox Broadband demo’s. But just because broadband is in some area’s, does not mean it is available nationwide – far from it.

On a nationwide scale, broadband has poor coverage and will do for some time yet. Thing is, it costs money to install it in your area. BT or any other installer wants to make sure they are going to make money out of it, so the fewer users and less industry you have where you live, the less likely you are to get a broadband upgrade where you live.

There is now an Install on demand thing, where any location can get onto the Broadband upgrade list by the people living there registering their interest on a special BT web page. Once your area registers 700 points, you go onto the upgrade list.

I have also seen people’s surprise on the net when they find out they can’t get broadband, but their friends 500yards down the same road can. This is because larger population area’s often need several telephone exchanges to cover the entire area, and not all the exchanges are to be upgraded. So one half a road might get it, while the other half do not – ahhhhhhhhh.

To really upset us, BT has just started a big commercial push for Broadband. This includes a nice tv commercial in which they tell us how great broadband is!

If I’m arrogant what does that make you or is there no word in the English language? Oh and by the way once again I’m not resorting to childish knocks I’m stating facts. Oh well when you become a notable in your dream world I’ll let you call me a "kid" but until then you don't have the right to look up at me and no one wants to look down at you unless tying their shoes.
