And than i thought to myself what the hell is this.
Aliens, the 3rd world? What the heck was going on i thought?
I thought it was some deodarant or some budweiser advert but it weren't it was a PS2 advert.
This was even worse than Sega's ad for the Dreamcast.
30 million players worldwide?
And we've been arguing about a lack of adverts!
.......P.........S.........2..........
worked rather well. All in all a fantastic work of blended sound and vision that culminates in a subliminal message to go down to Dixons and order a PS2. Note that they don't mention when you will actually GET one though.
Fantastic, I'm nominating this one for a BAFTA.
(N.B. This was a tongue in cheek post by FantasyMeister, and should no way be deemed his actual opinion or belief, I thank you.)
Humm. Perhaps that's where they got the idea from.
and 'the 3rd place' goes to, Playstation 2.
Anyway, the PS2 advert is what happens when you have the technology and money, but no skill or imagination.
It's a shame really. Lots of potential, but no emotion. Like the PS2, really. Although Sony would argue otherwise. :)
