Nintendo confirmed that characters Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong will return on Gamecube as they begin developing INTERNALLY on a brand new DK title after selling Rare.

This isn't a bad thing, as good as Rare were they did not match Nintendo's ability to make Platformers.

The DK's on the Snes were good

Donkey Kong was not a very good game, and Banjo Tooie was no where near the standard of Banjo Kazooie.
It's because Rare decided that a few really big levels (Donkey Kong)where better than lots of smaller ones (Mario, Banjo), but they were wrong, because it's less fun.

NO I don't think so.
Rare got better I think. ALL the Rare N64 platformers were brilliant.

I'm glad that Rare aren't making any more Platformers, afetr Banjo, it was all downhill...

No-one could ever have their humour. It was mental!

I didn't like Donkey Kong 64 too much at all. I much prefered the Banjo games, they will be the only games I will miss from Rare.
