I'm afraid that the freeloader and Action Replay will now be released 4th October and this date is very unlikely! If you have a Import version of SMS or anyother games, my advice to you would be to buy an Import Gamecube, Get your money Back or Horribly just wait for both devices to finally come out. Import gamecube's are very reliable but quite expensive, but if you do put your money into one, you have the advantage of getting Star Fox Adventures next week and Metroid Prime this year, not forgetting anyother game you'll want, except for the one's that are made here..... Sorry to the people waiting for the Freeloader, I know there's a lot of you. :(

I don't work for them as such - just write articles for their website, so I'm usually up to date with things.

If Datel did give you a release date, then whoever it was on the phone was in the wrong. I suppose being told Early August, he or she must've assumed a date.

All I can suggest for those still waiting is to hang tight, and it shouldn't be too long now.

Again, if I hear anything, I'll let you know, and if anyone has questions, either ask on here or email me.

Edgy you win and i'm sorry. I have 5 USA for my USA cube which is worth it but to all the people who have one, perhaps you should wait. You must understand what the people are going through now that they have waited since June and it's been put back until 27th December, they have all the hassle of getting their money back, and if they have brought it from, say, Goblindirect, god knows how their going to get their money back. Many Game developers who say a date do stick by it but like all things including time splitters 2 they can be put back. I'm positive that Datel announced 5th August to me on the phone and i was annoyed when they changed the date on the 4th August which is a day before.

By the way do you work for Datel are something, you have very good knowledge on this subject?? :D

Exactly - it's not as if the products have been cancelled - and with all the work gone into them, they would have lost a lot of money over nothing if they had.

I bought Sega Soccer Slam from Canada about a month ago when I visited regardless of when the FreeLoader came out, obviously the sooner the better but as long as I get to play it at some point, I don't really care.

Edgy, about your previous post (the lnger one :D) I absolutely agree. I bought SMB2 off of ebay the other day, regardless of the freeloader release date. Things tyake time. Look at PD for example, three years since the first screenshots were released before it finally came out. I agree, I can't wait for the freeloader, but at the same time, I can wait. At least i'll have a game to play it with when it is released. Oh, and Datel have my full respect, it's not their fault. If people actually looked at the situation, Datle are Helping us , by trying to get 100% or close to compatability with all games/consoles.

If one game with two discs has problems, then surely other games which use two discs will too.

Ok, here is another piece of information you should all know of:

What is holding the previously "One man Devloped" Freeloader disk back is Jap/USA Resident Evil.... Yip a game that is out in Europe!.

I never said I did.

That's fair enough - if you've done it for a few games, I can understand, but those who do import a 'Cube for one game only...well I'll have some of their cash if they've got it to waste.

Considering that Datel announced OFFICIALLY that it would be

WRONG!

They only said "Early August", never once mentioning an exact date.

They didn't say a date - and do you trust dates from all developers? Are the developers of Timesplitters 2 as bad as you make out Datel to be for the delays in it's release? Are Nintendo just as bad for releasing Ocarina of Time later than they suggested?

You made out that the Freeloader was a waste of money just because it was delayed. It's not their fault people ordered games before they actually recieved the products, they didn't put a gun to anyone's head. They didn't even suggest that the products were just for playing Super Mario Sunshine on import. They, like many other developers have done with their products, merely gave an indication on when they thought the products would be finished, never once suggesting an exact release date (never listen to third parties) and now they're public enemy number 1.

Yeah, me and Microchips both bought SMB2 for about £35 off ebay, and I dont mind waiting at all considering I made about £90 off ebay. Yay! (:)
