If Datel did give you a release date, then whoever it was on the phone was in the wrong. I suppose being told Early August, he or she must've assumed a date.
All I can suggest for those still waiting is to hang tight, and it shouldn't be too long now.
Again, if I hear anything, I'll let you know, and if anyone has questions, either ask on here or email me.
By the way do you work for Datel are something, you have very good knowledge on this subject?? :D
:)
What is holding the previously "One man Devloped" Freeloader disk back is Jap/USA Resident Evil.... Yip a game that is out in Europe!.

I never said I did.

That's fair enough - if you've done it for a few games, I can understand, but those who do import a 'Cube for one game only...well I'll have some of their cash if they've got it to waste.
Considering that Datel announced OFFICIALLY that it would be

WRONG!
They only said "Early August", never once mentioning an exact date.
many people have import games they can't play, it

They didn't say a date - and do you trust dates from all developers? Are the developers of Timesplitters 2 as bad as you make out Datel to be for the delays in it's release? Are Nintendo just as bad for releasing Ocarina of Time later than they suggested?
I never knew me saying i had a USA

You made out that the Freeloader was a waste of money just because it was delayed. It's not their fault people ordered games before they actually recieved the products, they didn't put a gun to anyone's head. They didn't even suggest that the products were just for playing Super Mario Sunshine on import. They, like many other developers have done with their products, merely gave an indication on when they thought the products would be finished, never once suggesting an exact release date (never listen to third parties) and now they're public enemy number 1.

Yeah, me and Microchips both bought SMB2 for about £35 off ebay, and I dont mind waiting at all considering I made about £90 off ebay. Yay! (:)
