Thinking of getting it, reviews seem pretty good but I just wondered if any of you good people had tried it yet?

I bought the DVD. It's a great film. I think it is probably a good game, but it's not really survival horror, if that's what you're after.

the americans seem to have some beef with the viewing system. Which can completely screw your enjoyment of a game if it is really bad.

Nope, but I did look at the back of the box.
I know it doesn't help so just think of boobs and the A-Team until someone more helpful posts

I've only played the XBOX version, but it's damned fine. Definitely worth the purchase. Check out my review if you need any more info.

will probably get it. But it'll have to work hard to get into the GamCube autumn/winter lineup. Plus I've just bought Mohaa, I stil have a hefty Championship manager game going, and I've recently got back into X-COm: Apocalypse.

I have many demands on my time. I'll check out all the reviews of The Thing, and if it greatly impresses, I shall purchase it.
