i have just got freeserve broadband and want to download a movie, i used kazaa to download three king but its been downloading for hours now and still only on aboit 10%. i looked at the speed it was downloading on and i was only on about 12kb. i knwo that broadband is 560kb so why isn't it downloading at that speed

Actually, KaZaA lets you find another source to download from so if it's going a bit slowly you can find another copy, thats the whole point of having broadband really but thats the only downside.
But if you insist on downloading, you've got to be prepared to look around or just wait a while.
I've seen a downloaded clip of Spiderman, and its nothing compaired to having it on DVD, or even VHS.
But lets face it, everyone likes things for free :o). I'd just 'recommend' you get it on a VHS/DVD rather than downloading it, as I believe it makes the film more enjoyable.

Another reason why your downloads are slow is because up to 10 other people are sharing the same line as you, you will probably find it to be faster late at night or really early in the morning, but all you got to do is leave Kazaa running day in and day out and eventually it will download what you want.

I'd definatly recommend buying the movies, DVDs especially are sooo much better quality and I find I enjoy the movie more.
Why don't you just buy movies? With all the Multi-region players on the market, it's so much easier than mucking about with downloads from dodgy sites.

Because you're downloading off someone else who's connection speed may not be as fast as yours. Also, he may be uploading 2/3/4/5 things at once, slowing down his upload speed. Don't worry, others will be faster.
