"give girls gamers a chance"

I know you may be reading this out of pure boredem but there are things that have to be said on behalf of all the females that enjoy games out there.

I think that girls should be given a chance at anything they choose to try their hands on, and that includes games. Just because we're built
differently to boys dosen't mean we can't do anything they do like play resident evil. I suppose all the boys think "yeah yeah five minuites into the game she'll run of screaming." well truth be told so would most boys.
While i was on the bus this morning i was reading a nintendo magazine and a boy came up to me and said "Thats not something you see every day" referring to me reading what he thinks is "only" for boys. This type of thing is blatently unfair and i think it should be stopped. I know this may be sterotypical of me saying this but most boys think girls are crap at everything but i could beat most of you at a game eg banjo-tooie, super smash bros melee.

So i have a few things to say to all the sexist boys who think girls are crap at games (1)drop the sterotypical attitude towards girls thinking that they all wear make-up and suck at sports and games, (2)Give us a chance we may surprise you.

I don't really care about gaming abilities.

Depends I mean theyed have to have some other qualities to make up for other things (cough cough MESS cough cough)

I would like a woman with good gaming abilities and intellect.

Your so picky... I bet that you wot go out with a girl if she is fat, would you?

It's not that we don't let you play you don't go to a shop and be turned away when you try and buy buffy! And as for being streotypical I know lots of female gamers and I really don't care about their GENDER just their looks and gaming abillities;D

HMMM... I'll take you to school on that bet Strafex. If you did live anywhere near me I'd give it a go.

Anyone who can beat me at StarCraft deserves a damn medal.

i would sooo love to see you beat me

I would be scared if I could find a girl who could "be me at computer games".
I don't really know any girls who are very good at games, or who like anything past Mario Kart, which seems to be a favourite with most of them for some reason.
They all have a brother with a PS2 though, which is probably most of you.

I've yet to meet a girl who's decent at computer games, but that's because most of them have a life! :-)

What you're good at depends on what you're into, and most girls aren't especially into computer games like the most boys are.
Nothing to worry about, we don't mind if you do play games, we just don't see that sort of thing so often.

I'd actually be quite pleased if I found a girl who could be me at Smash Brothers.

I'd be quite pleased if I found ANYONE who could beat me at Smash Brothers... :-D
