Nintendo finally get a fanchise that appeals to people over 5 and what do they produce, a remake of original ps1 game. What a rip-off at £44.99 this is money for old rope, considering the popularity of this series I have to say that its a pretty poor show not to make the most of the opportunity and produce a new chapter in the series and I am sure there are a lot of disappointed gamers out there who where expecting a lot more.

Well, Techno Freak will just have to face upto facts. Resident Evil is now GameCube only. Its got the history, it's got the quality, it's got the graphics, and gameplay. Even if it's not "perfect", plenty of people will be buying this one for their GC's.

The knife can only be used like other weapons, so if you had the default control style, you'd hold R to be in a fighting stance and press A to swing the knife.
The daggers are seperate defense items that you find lying about the mansion, and providing you haven't changed the options, picking one up will automatically set it as a defense item and your character will use it as soon as a zombie grabs you from the front.

I got the knife, I just can't set it as defence, meaning I can't!

Those daggers can only be used once - though why you can't remove them from a dead zombie's head I don't know...

I just been playing it now, I won it as a GAD and got it yesterday. Now I've got all the work done I just got to play it...

I just see this zombie walk up the stairs towards me, I just turned around and ran out of the door!
I left the console on though so the zombie had eaten the bloke when I got back!
