Nintendo finally get a fanchise that appeals to people over 5 and what do they produce, a remake of original ps1 game. What a rip-off at £44.99 this is money for old rope, considering the popularity of this series I have to say that its a pretty poor show not to make the most of the opportunity and produce a new chapter in the series and I am sure there are a lot of disappointed gamers out there who where expecting a lot more.

This Resident Evil game is amazing. I believe that is was worth the £44.99 i paid for it. I love the Resi series and this is a great addon. I mean when Zero and Resident Evil 4 come out they will be entire new games tat would be worth every penny too. They others 2, Nemesis and Code Veronica X. They will come out for £20 so i think you will not moan too much about that

I think this remake is just a taster of what is to come. Don't forget about resi 0 thats an original game exclusivly for the gamecube.

I love the remake, it's like discovering Resident Evil all over agian. The controls I have no problem with, took me 5 minutes to get used to the GC controller and then I was away.
The jaggies, well I have to say I can barely notice them most of the time, and when I do, they aren't that bad. Besides, the character models in the game are amazingly detailed, and have awesome, fluent animations.
All in all, classic Resi, as great a game to play now as the origanal PS1 version all those years ago.

The remake wasn't a dissapointment at all!!!
Like all disc drives, when the GameCube is loading from disc, it makes a slight noise, and on Resi Evil, it does it for no longer than a second.
Those scenes of opening doors didn't need to be included at all, but they were as they're part of Resi Evil.
Just like on my copy of Resi Evil 2 on the PC. I can skip those scenes with the press of a button if I like, they're not necessary to cover up any loading times, but they're part of Resi Evil. Almost like a trademark of the game series.

I find all this depressing, if i want to be depressed ill go watch channel 5.
Ah cool, I loved Driver 2 but found the loading times slightly annoying. As long as these loading times aint any worse i'll be fine with it.
