"Time for a Change for Diego Forlan?"

Firstly I dont think Forlan is given enough time on the pitch, he should be given more than 5 or 10 mins at the end of the game to prove his worth, he is actually very talented on the ball and fairly quick and can create things for other players around him, so that got me thinking, seeing as though we are lacking midfielders at the moment, why not try moving becks into the middle and giving diego the chance to play on the wing? this would also benefit us upfront because if we need to we can push him upfront too, this may even make him into a better player and something that we desparartly need at the moment a striker coming in from deep and creating.

You are right, just because Lord H wants to see Knob end, the draw specialists week after week does not mean we should all be subjected to them.

I get to about a dozen games a season. My tickets for the game against Villa came in the post today and before you start I was born in Manchester and I live about 15 miles from the ground.

Yeh but as I said to you on MSN it takes some players more time to settle in than others, Forsell has now been established in the English game for a few seasons and Forlan has had a mere half a season and hardly having a consistant run in the time, 5 or 10 mins at the end of a game is hardly enough time to get a rytham going, he needs to settle in more and get used to our game. In terms of internationally he has never really been given that chance being faily young, but was picked for the World Cup where he scored one of the best goals of the tournament, he also scored 3 goals out of 4 appearences in pre season friendly's against decent opposition. Many players have taken a while to settle in here as I said Viera, Henry, Stam, Cantona all took a while to adapt to the Premeirship and they are European players. Some players can settle quickly and some players cant, thats just the way it is.

Mikael forsell of chelsea has played about the same number of games for chelsea and has had the same number of starts and some how managed to rack up ten goals last season to forlans 0. He also scored 4 goals in 4 games for finland

and 2 of those goals were against germany which helped win the group for england

1 was against portugal

and with out the famous man utd midfield behind him. #That is an example of how to do the super subs role!
