Now i love games, i spend a lot of my money on them, infact i waste a lot of my money on them, i buy new gam,es, they are bad, but i take them back late and loose so much money, well i havn't lately, i have been good.

I go through spells where i can't get off a game, play it all the time, think about it etc, but then in games there are those little annoying things that make it not fun, firstly why are they in there, it mkaes no sense, like on MOH when you get to the end of a long level and die, you get put off.

It is not just getting annoyed but sometimes i just don't play my Ps2, GBA or GC, either i have no games or i am knackered from school etc, do any of you find that you go through spells and at times find you come back to your console and it has dust onit, well my mum cleans it heh, but mine do sometimes go unloved for a while.

They should sort these little things out, i.e. put checkpoints in MOH:F and other things like not making bosses too hard, it takes the fun out and then i go off the game, happen to any of you?

I can get bord of games really quick. It seems the FF series is my worst case though, because if I get defeated by one boss, i don't play the game for months. Like Yunalesca in FFX or Edea (Disc 2, FF8). Dunno why it's just RPG's (or Final Fantasy)

Most other games I can play for ages though.

I went right off of my N64 during my GCSE year.
The high-prices of all the great games had already stopped my attempts of getting more before it got to Revision Time, but with the first Exma nearing closer and closer, I just had to stop as I got fed-up of all the same few games I had in my collection.

If it wasn't for the prices then I probably would've had more games then.
But the pressures of the GCSE exams coming-up was enough to make me stop.

And that is the only time I have ever really stopped playing Games since I started way-back on Christmas Day in 1990 when I got my NES.
WOW - 11 years without a break is a long time...

I'm the same- I tend to buy quite a few games when I get paid but I don't play some of them for a while, last weekend bought Conflict Desert Storm (PS2)and Resident Evil (GC) and I'v only played Conflict, but I know I've usually got some games around I haven't played much for when I'm bored.

I am kind of like Rosalind, in the respect I buy loads of games in a short period of time and some of my games don't get touched for weeks. The pick up and play games usually get put in the Cube most of the time. Do I ever really go off gaming? No I don't think I do if I'm not playing video games then I may be reading a magazine about them or looking on the internet.

My problem is I have too many games and I still keep on buying them. Which means I don't have time to play all of them. Loads of them sit neglected on the shelves never played, and they probably never will be.

I suppose I could sell a load but then I would probably find that the game that I really want to play next is the one I just sold (sods law, boys and girls).

Gah!

As some said earlier we should need less sleep, or there should be more hours in the day, or weekends should be 3 or 4 days long. Then maybe I'd be in with a chance of finishing some of them.

I'm off games at the moment.

Only play Monkey Ball with mates when they come round.

Nah don't think I'll ever totally go off games, sure I'll have spells where I don't play a game for months but never go off them completely, the gaming news keeps me hooked. Read ma topic in Prime, similar to what you're/I'm on about.

I went about 4 weeks without playing on my GC, PS2 or GBA. Was a rather dry summer for me really. No real quality titles on any of me platforms that interested me.

So i slapped myself and bought an Xbox. Been hapily playing DOA3 and Project Gotham racing ever since :D Too many good games coming out this christmas too go off gaming.
