Excellent, this is going to sound intensely irritating coming from someone much younger but i've been told so many times that you never find the person you're after if you're looking for them because you're always too keen to jump on the first maybe. It might be an idea to let them find you.
By the way you know the rules about mates, theyre off limits although it would likely end any chance of her taking you back, that may or may not be a good thing.
