Or how about every now and then little things would change, like: the scroll-bar on the side of the page reverses so down = up or left mouse click changes to right?

How about instead of a banner, you had a 'Linx' helicopter floating all over the page and annoying everyone who were one minute typing and the next accidently clicking on it and being whisked off to another page to view the latest bargain?

I prefer Inca Lynx, it has the best smell, or perhaps Pheonix.
